The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation before spending seven months in Caucasian oak, adding depth, spice and texture while allowing the variety itself to remain at the centre of the wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine shows a deep violet-red colour, with aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant and ripe dark berries, layered with vanilla and gentle spice from the oak. The palate is full-bodied and fleshy, with integrated freshness and fine-grained tannins providing structure. The finish is persistent, returning to dark fruit with a subtle combination of oak and spice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFounded in 1992 by Mihran Manasserian, Tushpa Wine Cellar is a family-run winery based in Taperakan in Armenia’s Ararat Valley. Its vineyards sit at around 800 metres above sea level, benefiting from a pronounced continental climate and clay-rich, sedimentary soils.
