It is an ideal partner for spiced lamb, Georgian stews, grilled meats or herb-roasted vegetables. The 2023 Iberiuli Saperavi Qvevri was awarded a Silver medal at the 2026 IWSC.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFounded in 1997 in Tsinandali, at the heart of Kakheti, Shumi is one of the pioneering family wineries of modern Georgia. With vineyards spread across several of the country’s key terroirs and appellations, the estate seeks to match indigenous grape varieties with the terroirs where they can best express themselves.
